Membership Growth Associate
Are you obsessed with numbers, live for the funnel, and always hunting for the next growth lever? Do you get a kick out of turning a messy, manual process into something lean, automated and easy to use? Keep reading, this could be your next role.
Norrsken House Barcelona is Europe's largest hub for impact and tech startups. With over 1,500 members and startups, 10,000 square meters of collaborative space, and a home right on the beach, our hub is a vibrant, inspiring place for people to meet, work and build impact-driven businesses. And we're looking for someone to help us grow our community with the best founders, investors and changemakers.
As our Membership Growth Associate, you'll be the owner of growth and curation for Norrsken House (coworking) and Norrsken Club memberships. You'll report to Julia, Growth & Partnerships Manager, who you’ll work closely on a day-to-day basis.
This is a role that grows with you. You'll have real scope from day one and receive the necessary support to learn the ropes and eventually take on more of the bigger calls yourself. What matters most is that you're excited to question how things are done and make this funnel your own.
This role is based in Norrsken House Barcelona with an office-first principle.
What you'll do
Run and optimize the membership funnel: You’ll own the sales cycle for Norrsken House and Club memberships, from the first inbound inquiry or House tour through application, negotiation and close, working toward defined sales targets. You’ll live in the funnel data (tours booked, applications, conversion rates, time to close) and turn insights into concrete improvements. This may look like proposing sharper retargeting campaigns, spotting an opportunity to improve the sales email copy, or making tweaks to the online funnel itself.
Drive growth and outbound activities: Think past the current playbook for how to bring in and curate new members altogether. This may look like implementing a referral campaign, presenting to potential leads outside Norrsken or exploring a collaboration with an external organization or community. These are bigger, less proven swings, and there will be plenty of room here to make these bold bets.
Manage existing memberships and automate processes: Own the process for any changes to an existing membership (upgrades, downgrades, pauses, cancellations) helping with retention. Spot the repetitive steps across the membership funnel and drive the work to automate them, partnering with the Tech team and your manager to define what to prioritize.
Be a great first point of contact for Norrsken: Be one of the first people prospective members and external contacts meet at Norrsken, helping them understand what we do, why our community exists and what makes Norrsken different. You’ll represent our mission and values naturally and confidently, creating a great first experience while helping people find their place in the ecosystem.
To thrive and succeed as our Membership Growth Associate, we believe you:
Have 1 to 2 years of experience in sales, growth, or a funnel-driven role, ideally somewhere that made you obsessive about conversion rates and drop-off points.
Have hands-on experience managing a sales or application process in a tool like Airtable, Attio or similar. The exact tool is not so important, but we’re ideally looking for someone who has worked with a CRM before.
Are numbers-driven and are genuinely excited about automation: you're energized by targets, and you use data to decide what to try next with a keen eye for optimising operational processes.
Are creative and bold, with a track record, even a small one, of testing new ideas rather than waiting for the next task.
Are excited about the prospect of presenting Norrsken to externals and potential leads. You don't have to be an expert! But we're looking for someone who wants to learn how to successfully present and sell in person as well.
Are motivated by Norrsken's mission of supporting impact entrepreneurs.
Are fluent, written and spoken, in English and Spanish. Catalan is a plus.
