As you understand, the success of Norrsken - and the long term impact we make - depends entirely on our team. Therefore the most important asset at Norrsken is our culture. 

Norrsken Foundation is looking for a Head of People Operations to help build our fast-growing global team and make Norrsken the best place to work in the world. Your job will be to ensure that we as a team can create the most impact possible. You will drive this work on a strategic level, but like everyone else in this startup you’re expected to roll up your sleeves and make things happen.

In this role, you will drive our global people strategy, including culture, recruitment, learning & development, HR-processes, onboarding and overall employee experience. Thanks to your work, Norrsken will be able to scale and grow quickly, so that we can support entrepreneurs that are solving the world’s greatest challenges. 

You are the right person for this role only if

  • You have at least 4 years of experience from driving recruitment and HR work for fast-growing companies with operations in multiple geographies 
  • You have experience of working with senior management 
  • You have a great network in London
  • You are fluent in English

Most important, however, is that you have exceptional execution skills and a strong drive. You have the ability to make a lot of things happen, while also being able to zoom out and think about the big picture. You are a great relationship builder and strong communicator with a genuine interest in people and organisational culture. You are warm and caring and would not hesitate to walk the extra mile for your colleagues.

In this role, you will report directly to the CEO, and your responsibilities will include: 

  • Formulate and drive Norrsken’s people strategy 
  • Ensure we have optimised hiring practices
  • Make sure our values and culture is lived throughout all teams at Norrsken 
  • Manage total reward benefits plan and identify new benefit offerings as the team grows globally 
  • Support our leaders in recruiting and building our global organisation
  • Make sure that working for Norrsken is an exceptional experience, including the recruitment process, onboarding and being an alumnus
  • Ensure we have the right tools and practices to continuously develop our culture and train our team
  • Develop, manage and implement mentorship and professional development programs

This role is based in Stockholm but will involve travelling. Salary: 50,000 SEK per month. 7 weeks of vacation. Very good benefits and pension plan.
