Head of Programming
Are you a master in uniting different players towards a common goal and know how to turn a vision into a movement? Do you have the commercial amplitude and the operational “get-it-done” grit to design programming and activities that make people sit up and take notice? About Norrsken

To date, 3,000+ startups building solutions for a better tomorrow are part of Norrsken. And we’re just getting started.
About Norrsken House Amsterdam
In 2026, we’re opening Norrsken House Amsterdam. It will be a world-class co-working, club and events space, home to a vibrant ecosystem that connects and empowers 1,000+ entrepreneurs, investors, and partners building a future where civilization thrives within planetary boundaries. Norrsken House Amsterdam will serve as a beacon and platform for a new generation of initiatives, businesses and role-models - inspiring others to be part of the solution.
About the role
As the Head of Programming, you’ll be setting the tone and pulse of Norrsken House Amsterdam. Reporting directly to- and acting as a strategic sparring partner to the CEO, you’ll develop the strategy for our programming and positioning that will define our work in the Netherlands. You’ll identify the change-makers, investors and corporate partners we need to join forces with. From engaging top voices within the Dutch impact- and entrepreneurship ecosystem to drafting topics and communications to setting up event stages and flows - this role requires you to be equally as strong of a narrator as an executor.
This role will put you in the driver seat for how we transform our physical hub into a platform for meaningful moments and ensure we attract the right people, capital and knowledge to make the founders who matter more successful.
Key responsibilities (but not limited to):
Strategic direction and positioning: Together with the CEO you’ll develop our strategic programming and market positioning to ensure Norrsken House Amsterdam becomes a beacon for positive progress and a platform where renowned founders, funders and enablers want to be part of and engage with.
Commercial and budget ownership: You’ll own our programmatic agenda, including positioning, pricing, and KPIs to ensure our programming brings real value to our members and partners. Also, budget ownership for revenues for events and sponsorships.
Hands-on production and execution: You’ll design a calendar of programming, from exclusive salons and roundtables to workshops, meet-ups and bigger gatherings. While you think like a strategist, you execute like a founder. You take ownership of the full journey from high-level concept, to digital send-outs (website, emails, CRM) and physical event flow - literally moving chairs to get the right people in the room.
Collaborate with the internal team and external partners: You’ll liaise with the global Marketing & Communications team to ensure Norrsken House Amsterdam is a true reflection of the global Norrsken brand, sparking curiosity, transparency and agency. You’ll collaborate with the rest of the Amsterdam team and partners for F&B, staffing & IT to ensure our events leave people with a positive experience.
Ambassador for a new narrative: You’ll lead relations with media and partners to position Norrsken House Amsterdam as a platform for planetary and social progress.
Who you are
You have a deep passion and knowledge about the startup space. You are deeply embedded in the Dutch startup ecosystem. You know who and what to engage with, and understand the underlying flows of capital and talent.
You bring a curious and authentic spark to every room. You get energy from social interactions and are equally comfortable pitching a strategic partnership to a corporate CEO as you are hosting a room of 300 entrepreneurs.
You are a team player and doer who rolls up your sleeves to get good sh*t done. You thrive in a cross-functional team where we put impact over ego and the experience for our members and guests first.
Requirements
10+ years of relevant experience within commercial roles e.g. from VC, platform work, partnerships, startups or similar.
Experience from the Dutch startup and/or impact ecosystem is considered a huge advantage.
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, in Dutch and English.
