Art Director / Designer

As Norrsken Foundation’s Art Director / Designer, your mission is to craft high-impact design work to spotlight the world's greatest challenges through the brilliant people who are trying to solve them. You’ll be designing for startups tackling climate change, education, healthcare and inequality, and helping their stories reach the world
You’ll work across the entire Norrsken ecosystem, including our Houses in Stockholm, Kigali, Barcelona, Brussels, our funds and global campaigns like Impact/100, Impact/Week and Africa/Week.
You’ll be part of a small and agile marketing team that believes in giving creative people space to lead, helping us push the boundaries of what great brand design can look like in the impact/tech/startup space.
This is a hands-on role for a multi-skilled creative who thrives on variety and ownership. You’ll play a central role in how we express the Norrsken brand across platforms, markets, and initiatives. You’ll grow your creative skills while shaping how millions of people see entrepreneurship as a force for good.
Core responsibilities, but not limited to:
Create digital assets across formats and platforms, from social content and campaign visuals to templates and presentations.
Design for print and physical spaces, including campaign rollouts, signage, and event graphics.
Develop and maintain design systems and templates to keep our brand scalable, consistent, and easy to use across teams.
Collaborate globally with our Creative Director and teams across all Norrsken units to deliver seamless, on-brand creative work.
Take ownership of creative projects from concept to delivery, bringing ideas to life across channels and markets.
To thrive and succeed, we believe you bring:
3+ years of experience as a digital designer, art director, or creative in an agency, startup, or in-house environment.
Proficiency in Figma / Sketch and Adobe Creative Suite, with confidence across both digital and print design.
Experience directing creative work, from web and photography to video and copy.
A strong eye for detail, curiosity, and a drive to find smarter, faster, more creative ways to get things done.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Bonus points:
Experience working in Webflow or other website builders.
Experience and interest in photography.
Basic understanding of web principles (HTML/CSS/UX) and analytics tools.

Salary & benefits
This role is based out of Norrsken House Stockholm and you'll be reporting to our Creative Director.
Salary is 38 000 SEK/month
35 days of paid leave annually
