Lead - Norrsken Impact Accelerator

Norrsken is looking for a Lead - Norrsken Impact Accelerator; an outstanding team member to ideate, develop and deliver exceptional acceleration and incubation programs to support entrepreneurial teams in solving the world’s greatest challenges and increase their chances of success with support from our corporate partners. The programs aim to connect corporates and startups to jointly tackle The Global Goals. Your role will be to design the programs, and ensure that they are highly effective, engaging, and well-executed.

Norrsken is supported by our fantastic corporate partners, who share our vision of driving positive change through entrepreneurship and technology. The solution to some of the biggest problems lies in the collaboration between corporates with their scale, and startups with their speed. In order to enable a deep interaction between our corporate partners and entrepreneurial community, Norrsken will start offering incubation and acceleration support to startups with an impact focus. There are plenty of corporate incubator and accelerator programs, but this aims to become the world's leading program specifically tailored to solving global challenges.

As the Lead - Norrsken Impact Accelerator, you will be responsible for ideating, developing and executing these programs. You will work closely with Norrsken’s Global Partnership Manager, General Manager of Norrsken House Stockholm, and the partners themselves. Your goal will be to create a platform to accelerate the solutions to the global goals, and maximise the value of existing and future collaborations for startups and partners alike.

A job at Norrsken is more like working at a startup than a charity. It will be demanding, it may be long hours, fast tempo and stretching over multiple geographies and stakeholders. But it will also give you the opportunity of a lifetime to work on ideas and solutions that truly drive positive impact in society.

Among other things, your responsibilities will be to:

  • Ideate setups of engagement for select corporates
  • Work with the partner to structure program goals, deliverables, content and timeline
  • Attract startups that would benefit most from each program offered at Norrsken House
  • Work closely with program participants to understand their needs and tailor program content accordingly
  • Organise and run events, meetings, workshops, pitches, P2P sessions and other types of gatherings between startups and the partners
  • Monitor performance of program and value to entrepreneurs and partner
  • Develop and consolidate a network of local key partners and build great collaborations that give members industry-leading expertise, network and exposure
  • Overall management of the program/project budget
  • Report to Global Partnership Manager

Keep in mind that Norrsken is a startup at heart. We don’t know where this journey will take us. Things change fast, new opportunities come out of the blue, and as a result, your responsibilities will change over time as well.

We actively seek to recruit talented people from all backgrounds. You are a good fit if you:

  • are passionate about making the world a better place, and believe entrepreneurship, technology and business can be a driving force for this,
  • have 3 to 7 years experience in a programs role, with strong program design and/or program management experience,
  • have an interest in challenging the norms and taking these programs to the next level - it is in your nature to learn from and question what everyone else is doing and finding a new edge to reach best-in-class solutions,
  • have a results-oriented mindset,
  • are process driven, with excellent organisational skills,
  • have excellent communication skills, are detail-oriented and structured,
  • make things happen,
  • take pride in resourcefulness - if you don't know how to do something, you figure it out or you know who to ask.

It is not a must, but we appreciate if you have experience from impact, tech and entrepreneurship.

Salary: 45,000 SEK / month. 7 weeks of vacation. Solid pension program.

Starting time: As soon as possible. We will evaluate the applications on an ongoing basis and end the process as soon as we find the right candidate.
