Norrsken is looking for a Producer to lead the work with the world’s biggest, most important, impact event: Impact Week.

Ten years from now, when you’re looking back on your time at Norrsken, it’s hard to decide what you’re most proud of. It might simply be being part of such an incredible team. Or how you shaped the perception of how impact startups contribute to solving the world’s greatest challenges. How you produced shows, awards and conferences that were so epic that they changed people’s perception of the UN Global Goals. In summary, when you look back at your time at Norrsken, you will realise that you made entrepreneurs that solve the world’s hardest and most important problems the next generation of rock stars.   

At Norrsken, we’re on a mission to put a positive ding in the universe. We’re very proud of where we are so far, but we’re just getting started. We want to do bold stuff. We believe the way to break through the noise, and to be relevant, is to be less 63-year-old man in a red tie and more Zara Larsson. Less corporate reports and more authenticity. Less Brussels and more Bangalore. But at the core, it’s less about Norrsken and more about the entrepreneurs we’re supporting. They are the heros, and the ones who really deserve the spotlight.   

Therefore, the role as Producer will be crucial to the long-term success of what we’re doing. We have started out with the Impact Week, a week in September full of events, speakers, parties and collaboration to celebrate the best impact entrepreneurs in the world. We are doing this together with partners like McKinsey, UNDP, Brunswick, Mannheimer Swartling and Bonnier News. The first version has a Nordic focus, but we intend to make it the world’s leading week for impact startups.

You will lead and drive this work with the vision to turn the world’s attention to impact and the positive development we’re seeing across the world for at least one week per year. A week where school children learn about the UN Global Goals, where businesses decide to launch their new products, where impact entrepreneurs are celebrated like rock stars and where the world feels a little bit more optimistic.  

We want you to love what you’re doing, so a passion for technology, music, film, design, art, fashion and making the world a better place is a must. You love driving the entire process from idea to execution. You’re used to working digital and social first, and believe in the power of scale. You’ve probably spent time producing some of the leading and biggest events, shows and conferences in the world. You make corporate partners your very best friends. You’re digitally native. In short, we’re looking for a creative and social genius with a big heart who gets things done.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Lots of experience in a creative leadership role driving some of the world’s leading events, shows or conferences
  • Used to onboarding partners and maintaining excellent and trusted relationships  
  • Strong written, verbal, organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to scale ideas/solutions to budget, brand needs, timelines, environments, etc.
  • Experience working with freelancers and vendors

The role is based in Stockholm, full-time, and reports directly to the CMO. Salary: 50,000–55,000 SEK/Month. 7 weeks of vacation.
