Norrsken Foundation is looking for a second management trainee to join us after summer. We are expanding in many areas and need another superstar to be part of the Norrsken team!

Ten years from now, when you look back at your time at Norrsken, it will be hard to decide what you’re most proud of. It might simply be being part of such an incredible team. Or how you have lead projects and processes that have shaped the development of Norrsken and put the brand on the global map. How you initiated vital partnerships, built a fantastic network, or how you grew professionally and handled all the challenges that were thrown your way. But more than anything, it will probably be how you helped make entrepreneurs, focused on solving the world’s most complex and important problems, into the next generation of rockstars.

At Norrsken, we’re on a mission to put a ding in the universe. As a management trainee, you will play a crucial role in achieving that, working both closely with the management team and in parallel being involved in the most important projects Norrsken is driving right now.

A job at Norrsken will be demanding. Regardless of if you work directly with the management team, hands-on with an optimisation process, drawing up the strategy for global expansion, or supporting the entrepreneurs we invest in, it may be long hours and challenging work. But it will also give you the opportunity of a lifetime to work on ideas and solutions that truly drive positive impact in society.

We actively seek to recruit talented people from all academic backgrounds. We encourage all majors to apply, and will consider extracurricular activities, academic standing and work experience when selecting candidates to interview. As our management trainee:

  • You have a passion to make a positive impact in the world
  • You have a curious mind and love learning new things
  • You are a genuinely nice and positive person
  • You enjoy rolling up your sleeves and solving hard problems

We offer an opportunity to become part of an incredible team, and kickstart your career in a unique context. In this role, you will among many things:

  • Support the work of the Norrsken Management team
  • Report directly to the CEO
  • Prepare and be part of management meetings
  • Evaluate, analyse and drive critical projects
  • Support the team hands-on, including operational projects, working together with partners, evaluating opportunities and supporting the international expansion

Keep in mind that Norrsken is a startup at heart. We don’t know where this journey will take us. Things change fast, new opportunities come out of the blue, and as a result your assignments will change over time as well.

We think you’ll make the most impact if you are a management trainee for 12-18 months, but if you’re looking for something shorter that could work as well. It’s all about the right fit.

Questions about the role are answered by our current management trainee, Christoffer Nilsson. Make sure to check out the video of what a week as management trainee could look like and also read Christoffer’s (our current management trainee) short description of what the role has meant for him here.

The deadline for the application is March 31, so don’t wait with your application.

Please include the following information when you apply:

  • Education: University degrees and dates.
  • Academic transcript: courses you’ve taken and your scores.
  • Grade/GPA: Your cumulative grade / GPA as recognized by the university in which you are currently enrolled.
  • Personal statement: Your motivation for applying in 300 words or less.
  • CV/Resume
  • Language skills: Information regarding your proficiency of languages.
  • Any additional relevant information such as recommendation or reference letters.

The position is based in Stockholm and will require some travelling. Salary is 35,000 SEK/month, 7 weeks of vacation and good benefits.

We look forward to hearing from you!
