CFO Norrsken Foundation

At Norrsken Foundation, our vision is a world optimised for people and planet. We're leveraging entrepreneurship, technology and investing to achieve this. In our first two years, we have created Europe’s largest impact tech hub, Norrsken House (currently housing 350 members), started two companies, raised a unique investment fund that measures success in impact, and made 13 investments. And now we are expanding to more places around the world.

As our fantastic founding CFO is moving on to new adventures, we are looking for a candidate to join the Norrsken management team and drive all matters within finance, treasury, impact measuring, corporate admin and legal. Thanks to your work, Norrsken will be able to open our first houses in Europe and Africa, raise more funding to impact investing and establish the most effective foundation in the world.

Your responsibilities will range from the financing strategy behind our stretched goal to open 25 major impact hubs across the world and making a lasting impact by enabling structures that can lead to billions of capital being channeled to impact investing, to monthly reporting, to closing of books. There is a controller in the team and the bookkeeping is handled by an external party.

You are a good fit if you:

- want to make the world a better place, and believe entrepreneurship and business models are great driving forces for this

- are a finance generalist, who can contribute both in the details as well as to high level strategic discussions

- have experience from managing finances in a smaller- or medium sized company, giving you the understanding of bookkeeping, finance, business development, tax, legal, risk, corporate admin and HR

- have experience from driving funding strategy and implementing different funding alternatives

- have previously managed people

- have 7+ years of relevant experience

Examples of areas of responsibility:

- Funding and financial strategy of approximately 25 business units across the world
- Audit, accounting and reporting processes

- Business controlling and financial risk

- Impact measuring and framework

- Tax and VAT

- Contribute to the overall strategy of the foundation as part of the management team

You will be a member of the Norrsken Foundation management team, and report directly to the CEO. The position is based in Stockholm and will require some travelling. Salary is 65,000 sek/month, 7 weeks of vacation and good benefits.
